Basics of Online Earning

Online jobs are like Body weight management program. If you want to reduce your body weight, you have to do some exercise, diet control for a long period of time to get real result. And if you want to reduce your weight in 2 days, or 2 weeks or 2 months, you will definitely go for weight reduction medication or exercise equipment which will cost you money and you don’t know what result you will get.

In online jobs also, if you want to earn big money in small time, you will go for paid subscription, membership, tutorials, software etc. and loose money. You don’t know what will be the outcome.

There is no regulatory framework for part time jobs in India. In western countries, part time jobs such as buying groceries for someone, cleaning garden of someone, cleaning car for someone, baby sitting etc. are considered as very good part time jobs which a person can do easily if he has time. But in India, we consider such jobs that should not be done by an educated person. And as such there is no scope for such part time jobs in India.

So how to start part time Online the work from home?

In short I categorize all Online jobs into 2 categories -

2. Selling you talent

Online Marketing:

Online marketing can be divided into 2 categories:

1.       Promote your own business/website/blog

2.       Promote someone else’s business/website known as Affiliate marketing

In some cases, you promote your own website and allow other companies to promote their products or services in your website/blog through advertisement in your website/blog and you get commission if any visitor of your website clicks on the advertisements or purchase anything by clicking on the advertisements. Example – Amazon Associates, Google Adsense etc.

      Promote your own business/website/blog:

Even if I put all these into one category, you need different strategies for promoting your business , for promoting your website and your blog.

If you are able to produce something at home, you can sell it online either through a website or through social network platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, whatsapp etc. Good examples are home made food, crafts, plants, etc. For this, do a little market study and use your common sense and understand what are the main problems people facing in your locality or what is the aspiration of people in your locality.

Remember that people buy a product or service to either to fulfill a requirement or achieve an aspiration or dream.

I will mention few example here :

 Problem – People in my city are facing high-time problem on disposal of plastic bags and looking for alternatives. So, this is a time when I can think of a product to replace plastic bag.

Problem – People in my city are facing problem in getting healthy snacks in the local tea shops. Everywhere they find oily Samosa, Wada etc. You can think of an alternative home –made healthy snacks to be stocked at all local tea shops.

Aspiration: Many offices today want small decorative plants to be placed in their offices. You can think of supplying small decorative plants in attractive pots to offices/homes/flats. 

Promoting your website/blog:

Creating a website is not much difficult as you think. Not costly either. But creating a website/blog to earn money really needs time and effort.

Decide what website/blog  you want to create.

Find a Name of your website/bog

Find a niche for which you want to create your website/blog

So it all depends on your interest, skills and abilities.

I will discuss how to find a niche, how to evaluate the economic viability of your niche and how to earn money from your website/blog in details in another post.

In India, here are the online jobs, which anyone can do without any investment

a.       PTC – Paid to Click Advertisements

b.       GPT – Get Paid To do some tasks online

c.       Surveys – Taking part in consumer surveys.

d.       Microworkers – There are many legitimate sites, which pay you little money to do different types of small works, which can be completed in 5 to 10 minutes.

e.       Sell your home-made items online.

f.        Gig jobs

g.       Online trading and Forex

h.       Bitcoin Trading – Bitcoin is the latest buzz word I the internet. It’s a online currency which can be used to get pr oducts and services and is accepted by increasing number of companies now a days.

i.         Blogging

j.         Youtube

k.       Affiliate marketing

l.         Real part time job hired by a company – Many companies hire people on part time basis for content writing, online promotion, social media marketing, consulting, training, web designing, graphics creation, singing, video and photo editing, musicians, transcription, translation, business analysis, market research. Survey etc.

m.     E-commerce

Out of these, a, b, c, d and e can be done by anyone with little knowledge on computer and internet. Others require specialized skill, training and effort. So you can choose your career as per your skill and competence.

1 - PTC (Paid to Click) - You get paid to click and view some websites for a certain time.

2 - Adposting - You get paid to post some advertisements in different classified sites for a company/person .

3 -  Google Adsense - You get paid to show google ads in your website or blog or forum.

4 - Affiliate Marketing - You get paid commissions for selling goods and products online like Ebay.com, Amazon.com etc.

5 - Online Investment and Trading.

You can earn online if you read this blog and follow the procedures seriously.

   All these programs are good and anyone can earn money online if you have the proper knowledge. Three things are very very important for any online job
1. Knowledge
2. Hard work and
3. Patience.

Second important thing is you should have your own computer and internet connection for online work. Many may misguide you that you can work from an internet cafe which is practically not feasible.

PTC or Paid to click   - It is very simple. You just need to register in PTC sites and then click the ads available everyday.  Though the income may seem very feeble initially but if you gather the knowledge and work properly you can earn a good sum from PTC work. 

CAUTION: 

•  Never ever use any public computer like Internet cafe, your office computer etc. for PTC work.. 
• Never create multiple accounts even in different usernames and email addresses.
• Never log in to your account fom more than 1 computer in 24 hours.

Step 1: (Payment Processors) 

You need to have Paypal, Payeer, Skrill etc. account to receive money from most of the PTC sites. So register here to get your Paypal and/or Skrill account. CHECK IF PAYPAL/Skrill  service is available in your country. (For example: Paypal and skrill both are available in India,) Once you create account in these, you need to verify your account and link to your bank account so that you can withdraw money to you bank account.

Step 3: (Know The Basics of Each site)

After Registering many people think that the work is over, but it is the real beginning of the work.  First Read the FAQ and Forum of each site and gather some knowledge regarding PTC or else your hard work till this will be simply wasted.  Step:4  (Start Working - Clicking Advertisement )

Everyday log into your account and go to "view Advertisements" section. Click on the advertisements available one by one. After clicking one advertisement, wait till the advertisement is loaded in a new tab or a new window as per your browser setting and then wait till the timer finishes. And then the advertisement is validated and the ascertained amount is added to your account balance.

         Another important thing to notice here is the captcha or human test. 

Each website has a different way to test the user if he or she is human or a robot. Few examples of such tests are Captcha Letters entry, clicking the red or blue dot, clicking the tick mark, picture matching, answering a simple question, some mathematical test (e.g. 10+2 = ?  15-3=?, etc). In some sites you can see these tests just after you click the advertisement or in some sites you can see these tests after the timer is off and before the money is added to your account. So it is very important to be cautious and watchful while dealing with these tests.

Step 5:  Check the server time and advertisement Reset Time of each site.
